A place of ambience and tranquility, fine for rejuvenating and reseting away from routine and busy life. The trails are good for interacting with nature, whether solely or in groups and yet offers considerable exposure to fauna and flora in the spring and summer. It is suitable for families and picnics as it affords a discerning explorer of nature a piece of wonderful experience.

The only reason Iβm giving this a 4 star βοΈ is because the trail map does NOT tell you were to start πββοΈ so Iβm leaving a video and inform you, you want to start your trail walk over by the covered picnic area-tennis πΎ courts. FYI Roanoke county parks need to make the tennis πΎ courts into pickle π₯ ball courts. This way you will see more use out of them. Ok π the trail splits off after you cross the bridge π by the road to the left and right. Left is on top π of the hill view, and to the right is one βοΈ of the most magestic creek trail walk-runs πββοΈ absolutely beautiful π€© yes π itβs short but you can loop around several times if your a runner ππ½ or hiker that likes π a challenge πͺπΌ

It's one of our favorite places to go for walks. There are often people there, but it's pretty quiet with a few different trails to go on. Everything is well maintained and very clean.

Great park. Love the trials. I would be hesitant to walk some of them when it has rained. I suddenly realized that I had nothing to hold on to. It was a little scary since I had my dog and if he saw another dog or any animal I would have fell. Also has a somewhat big playground. No one was using it when I was there. A lot of people were in the picnic area, but there are a lot of tables and there was still room. Has restrooms, a small creek, shelters, frisbee golf and tennis courts. I didn't go into the restroom. I've only been here once. Loved it and looking forward to going back. Downsides include the lack of benches in some areas. I was fine with sitting in the grass, though. And you can see and hear traffic from where I was. Dog approved! I didn't see any dogs off leash..

A decent park in Roanoke city. Many places to relax, has a decent disc golf course but sometimes the grass can be a little high. Nice hiking trails beside the park. The tennis courts have been fixed and are playable.
